Croes on the national news

On the highway E313 on February 5 a truck crashed into the bridge in Geel West. Apparently the excavator on the truck was loaded too high. An engineer needed to decide to start the demolition work as the risk of collapsing was inevitable. The cross bars of the bridge were heavily damaged. The highway needed to be blocked for all traffic.

The AWV and the main contractor contacted Croes to start the demolition of the bridge. With the help of the police our heavy equipment was guided to the place. At eight pm our three heavy excavators started to bring the bridge down and only in two hours time the job was finished. Afterwards we started the clearance of the road and shortly after midnight the road was again free for traffic.

The press was present to shoot images of this spectacle and was breaking news on the national television later on the day and even in the weekend. Also the front pages of all newspapers draw the attention of the readers. No excuses anymore for not knowing Croes.
